Marketing Data & Campaign Lead

So, what will you be doing?

Our team consists of Marketing Specialists who have ownership of specific activity channels covering Social Media, PR, Content Amplifications, Customer Journey and Campaign Management for npower Business Solutions (nBS). As a business we provide energy supply, metering services and energy solutions to some of the largest corporate and industrial consumers in the UK and it is our job to drive these sales and help bring in new business.

Data is the foundation of all businesses and we’re investing in you to help us achieve and maintain a reliable marketing database to get smarter and more efficient with our marketing campaigns. Your goal is to use and ensure our data is up to date in order to initiate cross-sell and upselling campaigns to our customers through direct mail, email, online and Pay-Per-Click. You’ll own the complete marketing database for the whole of desk and field sales, analysing and finding opportunities to design new promotions, new messaging and making recommendations to support in the creation of how they look and feel for our customers.

With GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) now a reality you’ll be our data champion, you’ll design customer consent forms and maintain the data we hold to mirror this. Continually evolving our processes to make sure we are aligned with GDPR legislation, ensuring our core systems and the teams working knowledge is in line with legislation changes.

With your knowledge and expertise we will become more successful and smarter to showcase the fantastic work we do to help the business become more profitable. Your passion for marketing, design and creativity coupled with your experience of data analysis, will shine through above all else and together it'll contribute to driving forward a new and exciting marketing strategy.

Required skills and experience

To be successful in our incredibly successful team you’ll have/be the following:

  • A background in or knowledge of Marketing
  • Be team orientated, creative and have a mind for design
  • Be able to look at data with a marketing mindset and use this to spot selling opportunities
  • Working knowledge of online marketing
  • Background and experience in working with data
  • Be analytical and able to identify trends and opportunities of improvement
  • Experience using data systems; knowledge of salesforce is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and partner engagement
  • Experience of using Excel to a high level
  • Organised, approachable and enjoy helping others to succeed

It would be great if you also had, but isn’t essential:

  • Knowledge of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • Degree in Marketing or hold a Marketing Certification

Salary and package details

In addition to a competitive salary between £35,000-£40,000, you’ll receive a bonus opportunity of up to 15%, 25 days annual leave, a generous pension scheme and the ability to opt into our flexible scheme which offers a range of different benefits.
