Team Manager

Are you an experienced Team Manager?  Do you have planning experience?  If so, we'd love to hear from you.  This is a permanent position.

In the role as Team Manager, you are responsible for the meter reading central work planning team, along with ensuring the effective delivery of team targets, through appropriate training delivery, workload monitoring and resource allocation. This also includes:

• Co-ordinating the day-to-day activities of team members to ensure workload is delivered to defined team targets
• Recruit, coach and develop individual team members to improve overall individual and team performance
• Take ownership of escalated or referred queries, to provide an appropriate response and prevent  further escalation
• Monitor and report on daily work in progress, taking appropriate action to ensure resources are correctly focused and performance standards are met
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of department procedures and update local working practices to ensure team activities are performed in accordance with specified company policy
• Design, organise and deliver formal operational training to own or other teams to ensure appropriate knowledge levels within the team
• Evaluate training delivered and verify team’s skill levels to ensure training is understood and applied to the workplace

• Confident approach and professional manner in order to deal with people at various levels of the organisation
• Willing to accept and have the flexibility to handle additional responsibilities
