Senior Advisor (Work Planning)

Are you a pro-active person, keen to work on one of the largest energy projects across the UK?


Working for Energy Services at npower, you’ll be at the forefront of our smart metering roll out. You’ll be part of a dual site team of approximately 15 people based across our Leeds and Worcester offices who proactively schedule the installations of smart meters across England.

(Our current vacancies are based at our Leeds, Limewood office.)  

Working with internal smart metering colleagues and engineers you’ll manage your inbox to prioritize resources and equipment in order to manage installations in a timely and customer centric fashion.

You’ll be using our bespoke SAP booking system as well as standard Microsoft software such as Outlook and Excel in order to manage your own workload and inform your decisions.

You’ll be the type of person who likes working as part of  a team but making your own decisions using your skills and judgement. You’ll seek to minimize any booking errors or escalations in order to get it right first time.

You’ll use a mix of systems based bookings, emails and internal telephone calls in order to co-ordinate the activities of your field based colleagues. 


Skills and Experience

  • You should have experience of working in an office environment
  • I.T competence is crucial using Microsoft packages
  • Customer services based experience would be very useful
  • Prioritization skills are essential
  • Experience of taking ownership of workload packages is highly desirable

Positions are available on an immediate start basis but we are equally fine for wait for short notice periods.

We have 3 roles available working Monday to Friday from 08.00 – 16.00 at Leeds, Limewood.
