Senior Analyst - Risk and Control (Gov, Risk and Controls)

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support our dedicated Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) Management in the delivery of npower’s Risk and Control agenda within the Customer Operations GRC Team.

As a member of the GRC team, you will support the monitoring and performance measures through timely and accurate analysis and reporting. Identifying risks to Customer Operations key Customer metrics and highlight opportunities to improve through the development of appropriate controls.

You’ll have the opportunity to liaise with current points of contact with in other areas of the business including the Customer Operations Front Office and Compliance giving you an ideal platform to network and learn more about the business and gain confidence along the way.

Other responsibilities include
•You will investigate and resolve a wide range of complex issues or customer queries, liaising with other parties as necessary, to provide an appropriate, acceptable resolution for the customer and take action to eliminate any future re-occurrence of the issue
•You'll report on and analyse the performance of specific processes, investigating process failures to recommend improvements and ensure effective delivery of team targets
•You will be participating in process change and implementation, finding opportunities for process improvement, conduct testing, produce and maintain process documentation to ensure department processes are efficient and consistent with business and industry requirements
•Reviewing existing and new departmental processes and team performance to identify operational training requirements and develop programmes to address those needs
•You will evaluate training delivered to ensure it is consistent with departmental procedures and that training is understood and applied to the workplace
•Providing expertise to functions on a number of end to end processes to raise control awareness within teams and ensure tasks are appropriately handled right first time
•You will provide scheduled feedback on workload prioritisation to team management, monitor progress and provide scheduled updates, including recommendations for workload conflict resolution, to ensure performance standards are met

Skills and Experience
•Qualification in Risk Management is preferred i.e. Management of Risk (MOR) or equivalent
•Strong Energy Industry knowledge and background
•PC literate – including PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and a range of in house systems
•Confident partner engagement
•Experience in a risk aware culture/organisation and understands the importance of controls
