SAP Technician - Triton Knoll

Opportunity within innogy’s renewables for a Senior Authorised Person to work within our Offshore Wind team in Grimsby, on the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm project.



Principal Accountabilities, including but not limited to:



  • Progress to a HV Safety Controller with a view to assisting with commissioning and operational activities.
  • Outage coordination for routine and reactive maintenance.
  • Actively promote a positive safety culture.
  • Manage the HV network operation and coordinate O&M activities across the windfarm assets.
  • Maximise plant availability and asset integrity.
  • Ensure routine maintenance duties and effective fault diagnosis are carried out.
  • Liaise with operational stakeholders e.g. Control Room, Site Management and National Grid/OFTO
  • Contribute to a 24/7 rota working and staying offshore for extended periods, typically two weeks at a time. Post initial 18 months
  • Develop and maintain local procedures in line with company requirements.


Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:



  • Previous experience as a Safety Controller/SAP/AP/Electrical duty holder/Authorised Technician is desirable
  • Ideally experience working in offshore wind or similar industry - working at height and extended periods at sea is a central part of this role.
  • Experience working with, or knowledge of HV switchgear
  • IT literate with experience using CMMS, Microsoft suite, Adobe, etc.
  • Minimum qualification of HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent with a good understanding of Risk Assessment and Method Statement preparation and approval
