Asset Integrity Manager Triton Knoll

We are currently looking for an outstanding and experienced ASSET INTEGRITY MANAGER to join our team at the Triton Knoll Wind Farm based in Grimsby.   

 

 Role description

 

The Offshore PERFORMANCE and ASSET INTEGRITY team (ANB-WOI) exists to support all of the company’s offshore operational, construction and development projects with a full range of technical analysis support and design services.

The ASSET INTEGRITY team specifically maintains and optimises technical integrity across all offshore operational assets. It also supports technical related topics during contract negotiations for projects in the development, construction and plant operation phase.

The Triton Knoll ASSET INTEGRITY MANAGER provides strategic direction to the Site Asset Integrity team, to maintain and build the Offshore competence in the areas of technical performance of the operational windfarm assets, development and reporting of business critical KPIs, manage plant modifications and engineering issues, manage site engineering function, management of balance of plant engineering and maintenance including associated contracts, Technical support in warranty negotiations, support business planning. Supports contract negotiations for the project in the relating to technical topics. Provides input on best practice at site in a culture focused on continuous improvement.

The Successful candidate will play a significant part in developing and providing strategic direction to the Asset Integrity team at site including taking on some of the OEM Engineering support function and will champion the drive for the site to become best in class during the commissioning, operation and end of warranty phases of the project.

 

Required skills and experience

 

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer BEng or MEng preferred with experience in power generation.
  • Significant experience in Asset Integrity Engineering with at least 5 years track record in maintenance and service functions in the power industry or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with significant experience in liaising with an array of internal and

           external stakeholders with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Will have a customer centric mind-set and be committed to ensuring high levels of customer

           satisfaction.

  • Will possess a strong ethos of Continuous Improvement.
  • Committed to people development and possessing the skill-sets to lead and inspire a team.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Experience of managing budgets and contractors
  • Flexible attitude to working due to the nature of the offshore environment.
  • Comfortable working in an office environment, with an ability to assess large quantities of multidisciplinary engineering data to provide solutions via reports and presentations.
