Cyber Security Architect for Integration, Authorisation and Access Management

As a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Architect for Integration, Authorisation and Access Management you are responsible to define and manage integration patterns for Authorisation and Access Management as part of the Cyber Security Architecture & Solution (CSAS) team. You consult innogy projects in selecting and building Access and Authorisation concepts to enable integrations to our central Identity and Access Management Services. In a goal-oriented, creative, and passionate way, you help us to drive the integration of cyber security into the IT change processes of innogy, select and build fit-for-purpose security solutions, and support the build capability of product and project teams to be agile and secure-by-design for the future.


We offer the following tasks: 

  • Create and manage the cyber security architecture with emphasis on integration patterns for Authorisation and Access Management, that allows innogy to be agile and achieve its goals within the boundaries of accepable risk as part of the global CSAS-Team
  • Develop and implement Access and Authorisation concepts, standards and patterns for use within innogy IT solution landscape
  • Ensure the correct implementation of IAM in products and solutions, and align with the Identity and Access Management service owners
  • Consult and support, with in-depth technical expertise, in the implementation of business projects in the solution design development to ensure end-to-end, built-in security for the complete solution lifecycle
  • Contribute as an active member to the cyber security and architecture communities towards our common goal of building fit for purpose security solutions for innogy and our customers


 What you as Cyber Security Architect for Integration, Authorisation and Access Management ideally bring to the role: 

  • University degree, or equivalent practical experience, in IT security, information technology or related areas
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related security functions
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and German
  • Experience in planning, designing and implementing IAM solutions (including role-based access control), authentication and authorization (Kerberos, SSO, Federated ID, Multifactor), Public Key Infrastructures (PKI), IAM protocols (SAML, XACML, OpenID, OAuth, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IAM integration patterns in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with IT security standards, risk analysis and risk management practices
  • Open-mindedness and willingness to cooperate within the team
